Lawyer Marco Bona’s speech focusing on compensation to victims of terrorist attacks, during the meeting organized by PEOPIL in Malaga.

 

On the 3rd and 4th november 2022, in the beautiful city of Malaga (Spain), a meeting organized by the Pan-European Organization of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL) was held, particularly concerning the Tourism branch of the Organization.

Lawyer Marco Bona, partner of MB.O Law Firm, attended as a speaker examining the issues of compensation of damages by States to the victims of terrorist attacks and of  travel agencies and cruise organizers’ liability.

In particular, Marco Bona presented a case suited by MB.O Law Firm, currently ongoing, in which it is disputed whether the terrorist attack always represent a fortuitous event or a force majeure, so that it always excludes the organizer’s liability, or not.

The meeting was a useful opportunity to interact with professionals specializing in tort law, to examine and discuss about issues of major and current interest, having regard to the events of the last years. Thanks to PEOPIL for the organization of the meeting, thanks to the numerous Colleagues that attended whith enthusiasm.
